Aeris, Beijing 2017
Industrial Design Intern - 07 months
During my 07 months at Aeris I worked on a variety of projects ranging from air purifiers, air quality sensors to designing concepts for their future products. I had the opportunity to be a part of all the design projects and to work alongside talented engineers. I learned a lot about manufacturing constraints, which taught me to focus on the smaller details. Working at Aeris introduced me to the world of consumer electronics and I enjoyed every part of the process. Working directly under the Lead Designer, I learnt new tricks and techniques to make my designs aesthetically appealing and also improve my sketching and CAD skills. The talented team at Aeris really helped me grow as a designer.
“Natasha undertook a design internship at Aeris Cleantec AG, assisting with the design of air purification and AQI monitoring systems, diverse marketing materials. Additionally she helped shape the Aeris brand DNA.
Natasha is a great design thinker and a great person overall.
Always coming to the office with a great positive energy and always keen to work hard to balance time and results in the most efficient way. We worked together for 7 months and during that time I witnessed her contribute immensely to important tasks as well as inspire many around her. Her creativity has been a breath of fresh air for our design team in Beijing.
I am saddened that we can no longer collaborate due to her willingness to explore more and have other experiences in other studios but I'm sure we will meet again and spend some time around a creative workshop and great ideas. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for an efficient driven creative mind.”
Made Innovation, Beijing 2015
Industrial Design Intern - 06 months
During my internship at Made Innovation, I spent a lot of time on design research, team brainstorming sessions, ideation and prototyping. I learned to work and deal with dynamic client expectations and business constraints related to products. I worked on a variety of challenging projects ranging from healthcare monitor for infants to products that assist elderly people, alongside other well experienced designers, 3D modelers and engineers. More importantly I learned how to deal with working on multiple projects under time pressure.
“Natasha has worked on different aspects of the Design processes, including, but not limited to, Research, Brainstorming, Ideation, Concept development, Sketch renders, CAD Modeling, Design for Manufacturability, Prototyping & Client communication.
She was found to be exceptionally hard working, dedicated and focused towards the tasks assigned to her. We wish her all the very best for her future endeavours.”
